Hazmore @LittleChief so this seat is as comfortable as the padded no bar seat on the summit? Also mine has the big back rest and you really sink into it. Just don’t see the net being as comfortable but not having the pads in my knees while climbing would be nice.
I can't say that it would be the same for everyone because everyone is different, but I can say that everyone I know who has tried it thinks it's more comfortable than the seat that comes on a Summit. It has something to do with being easier on your back. Also, the crossed support straps on the actual seat portion of the Summit seat puts pressure on your backside after a while. The Hazmore seat doesn't do that. The Summit Seat is pretty comfy, but I can do an all day sit with the Hazmore seat and stay sitting much longer than I used to be able to in the Summit seat. There are other benefits too, like weight reduction and ease of nesting the top and bottom sections for packing.
Tomorrow morning I'm going in after that big buck I saw about 10 days ago. Same wind but I'm gonna be a little closer to where I think he is bedding.
Friday rain has now went to 90% chance, winds are dropping though. My first sit is nothing more than slicing through a doe. North wind is not a bad wind at all for that and always calmer in the morning before the sun starts mixing winds down. Have to keep reminding myself it is still October even if it is the tail end. Just getting to the good stuff and knocking a doe off early only makes it that much easier passing smaller bucks. Hell, I'm not even keeping the doe, going to a coworker if I get one.
I had that Summit hang on with the seat you are talking about, and the Hazmore is about as comfie in temps above freezing...but the Summit is warmer in really cold. The Hazmore is much quieter though. I would take that advantage over the Summit on all but the coldest days.
Let's....Let's....Let's introduce you to Mike. This is Mike. Mike is a ****. Don't be a Mike. Getting to really like the new Mike though!
