I haven't worn a mask at work in IL since April of 2020.

The only places you see masks in MN is schools, clinics, and the airport... and if you are inside the 494 and 694 corridor. Inside that space all bets are off, masks on bikers and joggers, masks on people in cars by themselves.

No not normal, the dumbass had symptoms "thought" if he wore a mask it would be OK to show up at work.

I have not either when it comes to leisure events, or shopping, but to get paid I have to wear one at work. Nothing I can do about that. Gotta keep the income.

Ah yes... The ones wearing them ALONE in a car are my favorite. Some have drank the kool-aid a bit too much. I'm over all of it. I've gone to bars, concerts, parties, stores, festivals, and been around people with prior to and after receiving a positive test (ALL MASKLESS). I haven't had a single symptom, nor have those around me become sick. I've heard all of the theories about blood types being less susceptible. I am just of the belief that based on your age, fitness activity level, eating healthy, WASHING YOUR DAMN HANDS, and general immune system health you will not get it. Part of me wishes I had. I want those two weeks paid off. I've been going into work every day since this started. No remote work for me. Working in wastewater for two years probably gave my immune system a boost, too. Who knows. Its all theory.

It blows my mind how many adults use a public restroom and leave without washing their hands. Disgusting.

It really isn't a matter of if, but when you will get it. On the other side to that coin, when you do, you will more than likely experience what most on here have, flu like symptoms. That is what the data has shown, and will continue to show. If I remember correctly, up until the vaccines started getting administered, the survival rate in the US was something like 99.97%.

My work doesn't enforce it, we're all "socially distanced" for the most part. I have had a trainee for the past week. I won't wear a mask other than the Dr's office. If places enforce it, I'll spend my money where they don't.

Aside from that, LET'S GO RICKSTER!!! and LETS GO BRANDON!!!

I'd just like it known that I have not died from Covid-19 nor it's vaccination. I'm living the same ****** up life as everyone else.

When my mother had C-19, her only symptoms were nausea/diarrhea and slight body aches/low grade fever.
She's 62 and has low-grade luekemia and is on prednisone and 1x/mo something else...methyltrexate I think? She took some of my dad's hydroxychloriquine (he has RA and takes it daily) and she was fine in 3 days.

When my 64 year old dad got it, he was really sick with all the respiratory stuff, but he's obese and has heart issues anyway...think he was on day 8 when I told him to start taking mom's prednisone or go to the hospital; he chose prednisone and he turned the corner that day and by the next day he was feeling mostly fine except for still coughing, which lasted a couple more weeks but got progressively better every day.

    Both cases- Prednisone...HDQ....BAM.

It's only a rule if you follow it.
I live/work here and never wear one. And I work in a setting where its...'mandated'
I even went into Whole Foods the other day, and I was far from the only person not wearing one. And I thought I was ballsy going into Costco without one, Whole Foods? That's like Cook County Karen Central.
