Just got my new Reveal X. got it set up and everything looks right, however, it will NOT take a picture. It will take a TEST pic but not a regular motion pic. tried 2 different SD cards, both brand new. The iphone is connected to the camera wifi and SD card is formatted. I am lost. anyone with ideas?

it was set on 7. so it can't be that. I have no idea. there is no red light flash indicating that it's picking up movement. The test picture it does show the red light sensor. Maybe there is something with the sim card

I would call customer support, they should be able to help out. I have read that the Reveal cam's can be pretty picky about type of SD card too.

Best place I found for that SD card was Amazon.

I buy Ultras in bulk. They are rated at 90 MB/s. They have worked in all my Reveals and every other trail camera I own.

I have made the mistake of buying SD cards that were Class 4 and the instructions on spypoint cameras require Class 10. Is that a possibility of why your having trouble? I am not a tech smart person but maybe that might help you.

The answer was a loose or bad connection in the antenna. took it off, put it back on boom! works like a charm now!
