I’m back up for the pm sit. That extra two hours this morning was a waste of time and just made me sleepy.
I'm set up about 250 yards from where I got pics of that brute this morning. Wind is perfect if he wants to cruise upwind of these 2 bedding areas. Good luck yall! Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
You have no idea. That 3 point yesterday looked really good. I haven’t been able to get back to Kentucky which is where I stack up the does. I won’t be able to get back there for a while either. When I do finally go back I’ll probably go into full deer serial killer mode.
I've been on stand since 1530. I haven't seen anything and honestly I don't expect to. There is so much flooding in here, the deer are probably confused about where to go. And yes, I'm whining. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
My buddy is hunting - fairly unserious hunter just enjoys being out. His son is pretty proficient hunter. I’ve been telling my buddy for 2 years where he needs to hang a stand - just on things he describes to me. I’ve only been on the property once. First sit of the year in the newly hung stand. Over thick crp. Hunting with a X bow. He says “shooter bedded at 35 yrds to thick…” smh Oh the questions… is it really 35 yards? How thick is it? What’s he calling a shooter? Lol He said he will send me a video haha I said expletive the video I want to see him on the expletive wall… Just thought the sequence was funny.
I don’t know about there, but at Wattensaw WMA in Arkansas the deer travel the same paths even if it’s flooded. Provided, of course, it’s not crazy deep. It’s nothing unusual there to hang a stand and hunt standing water when the White River gets up.
Just drew back on a doe. All I needed was one more step. She just for no reason turned around and went back. Didn’t smell or see me either. I guess today wasn’t meant to be her day Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Getting chilly out here about 40 mins left. Something is gonna happen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The problem im having is usually by now most corn is gone. And still have tons standing because of all the rain. So most deer here are still in the standing corn.
