Gonna hit the woods in a bit as soon as I finish up with work. Hopefully I can actually hear the deer before they get directly under my stand this time. Smh.

I went a blood trail tonight where they used a dog. I can tell you it was one of the coolest things to watch.

Bucks are on the move. Why does work have to get in the way.

Had a doe that is close around me tonight. Had this guy right under my stand grunting up a storm. Watched him for 20 minutes ripping willows apart and just watching the doe. Some smaller bucks were in there too.

Little after sunset this guy came out at about 100yds.

Things are definitely heating up here in central MN.

My friend and I went and sat some public tonight. No deer while in the stand but my friend had 3 albino deer run past him when he was at the base of the tree wrapping up. Super cool! I have yet to see one but hopefully someday. IMG_0697.JPG

Rain for the next couple days. It’s going to stop for Saturday morning. Should be a good sit. Not sure if I’m an idiot you can tell me if I am. But I am going to paper tune the bow this evening. Not feeling confident in shooting.

Ran to the archery shop today. Paper tune was dead on. So I just must suck this year. Went hunting tonight went to get the the perfect stand and the neighbor rides thru there pasture with there truck. Decide to go to another stand wind was horrible. Get about 15 yards from the stand and told my son there is a dead deer by the stand. Not sure if it ehd. There was not hole in it and wife’s cousin found 2 does this morning in a creek.

Zero deer for me tonight on some public. Heading to one of my small private pieces in the morning.
