I think the complete opposite. I check my cameras 2-3x more frequently beginning of October-November. I want to know if there is daylight movement in and around my main stand areas. I can deal with being at work but knowing there was a shooter at least out during daylight. Gives me a false sense of hope for the upcoming times I'm going to be in the tree.
where does all that water go? If I had even half of what you get, my house would float away-and it's 6 feet above grade.
What kind of friend would you be if you took the prime spot, shot a toad and then made him help you drag it out? HA HA You might end up being in one of those "overlooked" spots-just need to be there at the right time.
The joys of living on the top half of a steep hill...That said...we still have standing water on anything even a little flat and we have mid hill swamps and steep gullies.
I had 6.2 inches of rain Saturday night though sun and calling for Rain all day tomorrow and thursday
Im out. Nothing but 2 squirrels this am. Got couple things to do. Then going to check the wind and figure out a spot to hang and hunt for pm.
The first picture is when this buck was 4.5 yrs old and here's a picture of when. I shot him this year 10/24 and he was 5.5 yrs old. He for whatever reason went downhill in the antler department. Regardless he's still a trophy due to being a fully mature buck.
Looks like winds with rain are picking up pretty good Nice day to stuff poppers, cut cabbage, iron and clean the house. I'm up to nearly 3,000 poppers made this season.....I'll have to figure out what that ='s in $
Canned 120 pounds of kraut Sunday. I do believe that clears my "honey do" list for the fall. Look out deer!!
Makes it hard to do anything. And hunting wise no crops are coming out. So im seeing very little deer activity.
I’m out, nothing else. Grabbed some camera chips on the way out so I can see what is or isn’t happening.
Left my stand up yesterday wind is dead wrong but it’s also blowing 15-20mph. Gonna send it at the neighbors again. I love windy days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
