Friday morning will be my first available day. Right now it has rain forecast, just have to see what that means come Thursday evening. Not afraid of a few showers, but a downpour would be no go.

Love my cell cams, instant intel. Both these pictures are at what I call the "creek stand", it is a pinch point. For now it seems to be the hot stand !!

Had a big 8 pointer chasing a doe last night around 545 pm, came in grunting...I tired to call him in but, he didn't want anything to do with me lol...its heating up (Massachusetts) Not sure what buck he was as I know I don't have him on camera but, didn't have a shot unfortunately. Rain in the forecast tomorrow but, supposed to taper of after 8 am... I'm still heading out, fingers crossed!

Fella’s I just wanted to say that I haven’t made it out in awhile. I am coughing my head off and can’t get it cured. Been really weak with no drive. Saturday at 1:00 I had my stuff ready to go and was in the garage debating what to do, and just closed the door and went back to bed. Hoping to get over this before my vacation hunt.
Wishing you luck on those bucks Dave.

Sounds like you may need a Covid test

My wife and I just had one last weekend and I also had a chest X-ray the same time frame. Nothing is showing up. Nothing but mucous in my nose. Have taken antibiotics 2 times. Going to set up a pulmonary appointment soon. I think it’s tied to something asthma related but can’t find an inhaler that works.

March of 2020 the wife and I ended up staying home for two weeks as directed by our doctor and local health department. At that time covid test were not readily available. For the first week or so we had minor congestion in the chest and sinus issues. We also had zero energy, felt like I ran a 21 mile marathon everyday. After two weeks we felt better and were able to return to work.

To this day we still believe we had the covid but could never find a health care provider that would test us for antibodies. Take it easy and go get checked out, sounds like a sinus thing you got going on.

So last night I took a new hunter and her husband with me. She was real nervous getting in the tree stand "afraid of heights". Her husband had the climber above her ladder stand about 5 feet above her head. I decided to give them the "creek stand", it has been the most active on the cameras and would give her the best chance of getting her first deer.

Around 5:20pm down off the hillside from the field comes Mr. Broke up 8. According to them she turned her head and looked right at it. Buck looked right up at them from 25 yards, stomped twice then ran behind them, across the creek and through the woods. Moral of story is, being a nice guy does not always pay off................lol !!! If I was there this would be a "BUCK DOWN" post instead of a Mr. nice guy post.

Hey gents, sorry I haven’t been very active posting on here although I have been following everyone’s season thus far. Coaching my son’s baseball team has had me busy every weekend but the fall season is over for us after this upcoming weekend. Then I can focus on getting in the woods and putting a deer down and help the team. Starting to get some pics of good bucks in the daylight so it’s time!

Friday starts my rutcation, looks like it will start off on a sour note. Calling for rain and 30mph winds, but Saturday to Monday looking good.

Taking tomorrow off to hit this cold snap coming in. Hopefully I can drink enough cough syrup to get me through the morning.
