So a neighbor that watches my farm called me today and started talking about "the monster" he sees 3-4 times a week on me. He says man that's the best looking 16 PT he has ever seen and so symmetrical. I said hold on then sent him the pics and he said damn that's a awesome buck but that's not the one I keep seeing!!!!!!

You must really trust that guy! :p My neighbor has done that to me just to see what the inventory is and if I am holding out on him.

Nice work on the doe @Stickman! I'm going to do my best to put one down by Sunday as well. I might go back to the same location from 2 days ago, shift my stand location a bit and assume that deer are indeed creatures of habit. And this time I'll be sure to not lose arrows on the way in. I would have taken a shot on Sunday morning but I had a fear of sending my only arrow on a doe and then having booner walk by next and having to ossify watch him walk by.

No hunting for me tonight. Planning on tomorrow after work. Went out yesterday morning and had died around me but didn’t want to fill that last tag yet. Was a nice cool morning!! I was hoping for more but..........

Heading to Ohio bright and early tomorrow morning. I’ll be in a tree every morning and evening for the next 8 days. Hoping the big boys come back to town. Plenty of does so they should be there.

I think my next couple of days will look like. AM/PM hunt on Thursday. PM hunt on Friday. AM hunt on Saturday. AM or no hunt on Sunday.

I really would like to get a doe on the ground before the end of the week... We’ve got a lot of nocturnal camera action but here are a few from the past few weeks.

Creek bottom stand I hunted the other morning. This stand really has it all - I would have passed this buck but not bad one:

Young deer we’ve got behind the house… Nothing special. Got a better picture of him the food plot below - he could be really nice next year I think.

Another nice buck - come November 7-10 or so if I haven’t filled a tag I would probably gladly use one on this guy

Pretty sure this deer is 5 1/5 + years old just has all the features of an old deer and his antlers appear to be on the decline. We have a lot of photos of him.

This scrape gets soooo much night time traffic every year. I’ve never had a mock scrape get hit so frequently by different bucks

Cool photo in the food plot behind the house

Back in boys!! Hoping for the best. I’m sitting for the first time this year in a spot that has really produced in the past. I have a view of the entire hill right down to the creek where scrape line is I’m waiting to strike on. If anything is moving I should st least get eyes on it. Bucks only at this point unless a biggin shows up.

This guy has walked less than 20 yards from one of our stands during daylights hours 3 days in a row. It's killing my son not to be able to go after school dueto wrestling practice. I kind of want to see what he looks like too!

Back out hoping to take a buck out of the herd tonight. Wind is good and farmer has about half of the cornfield cut at top of hill in on. Hoping the deer know that and work their way up past me. We shall see. No hunting for me tomorrow I am headed out of town until Sunday afternoon. After this weekend I think I’m going to be able to hunt Saturday mornings for the remainder of the season. Sure would be nice to get one tonight though. Good luck to whoever else is getting after them.
