Sooooo......just spent a half hour grid searching for a turkey I never hit...lol. Yep they came in so fast I misjudged the yardage by the time I got the scope on the biggest. Not Toms I've been watching. There were 7 of them and near all had at least 8-10 in beards. It sounded like a hit but they all flew immediately then I heard flapping off by it's self. I couldn't find the bolt at first. The sound was the bolt hitting a massive clump of moss that made a thud. Clean as a whistle and still sharp. I feel like an as s but dang that was a lot of good Toms!!!! I had a fun evening none the less. Best a clean miss than a unfound dead turkey . Looks to have gone clean over it's back
Well I just boogered up a chance at a shot. I had a decent 8 coming down the run which would have put him in one of my lanes at 25yds. He was at about 45-50 and I moved my feet a bit to get in a better position. When I did that I stepped on a leave that was inside the blind. He stopped and stared for about 10 minutes and then headed back the way he came. Thing of it is I didn't expect anything from that direction cause it was downwind of me. By the time I made the noise and he stopped he was already out of my scent stream. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
