Just had 3 doe follow my path almost to my stand of course my non shooting side. A 5 pt was following them but he stayed about 40 yds behind them the whole time.

Nothing so far here in SC. Just a few squirrels. Also surprised that I haven't heard a single smokepole go off.

Been watching a 3 point and a 6 point mess around on and off for 20 minutes. A doe and two fawns came through and didn’t like the bucks sparring. Hoping for some more movement

Nothing here yet… don’t these deer know it’s a lottery hunt? They are supposed to walk by me and let me kill them lol

It’s one of those mornings where you know the deer are moving somewhere but you know you didn’t pick the right where…

What is a “non shooting” side? Is that a saddle thing?

Watched a little 8 point walk through the field earlier and had a coyote close to 35 yards.

That’s all I’ve seen so far?

    Random treestand thought.
Would it be considered baiting if someone were to bring one of those salt rifles in the stand with them to blast black widows, brown recluses, etc.
Not actually going to do it just a thought.

Get in the bottoms. With higher winds it will blow your scent out faster and get less swirling. The deer do the same thing.

To my right there's a bunch of deadfall the deer are supposed to come from my left. No saddle for me. I would have had to do a 180 without trying to get busted and get it through here. I'm not that lucky.

Morning report, had a nice 8 bed down 60 yards, little yearling under me, then a 6 grunting and chasing a doe. They’ve all moved on, I would have shot that 8.
Had to break out the sams club camo for this cool morning.

So I'm truly not afraid of spiders. I think they're pretty cool. But when they are literally the size of a squirrel, yeah no thanks I'm out. This guy is right behind my stand.[IMG]

I thought with the sun coming up this morning - no clouds I’d get here in the thick cover where the deer could move freely without the sun in their eyes…
