I’m all set up. I actually got here an hour and 20 minutes early. I might as well be sitting here as at the house waiting to go. Critters are going to die today. If I’m not the cause then someone else on here will make it happen. Goid luck everyone, and enjoy the cool weather.
Walking in on what is only my 3rd hunt all season. Not sure if I can describe it as “crisp” but it’s coolish. The stems of the cut beans are dragging across the bottom of my feat. It’s dark. It’s bow season baby!

I just got in the stand wind is good NNW. 57 degrees sitting on the edge of timber and a food plot that is just starting to come up. Hopefully something will give me a shot.
Let’s do this! Got the new crossbow and it’s hungry, just like me. Got poured on yesterday but was in a blind, bumped on doe walking in but nothing else seen. Raised box blind for this hunt. Couple owls hooting out here. Getting a bit of orange to the East-beautiful. Safe hunts y’all.
Got in during gray light. I like getting in at that time I seem to be alot more quiet. Wind must be the same as where swampstalker is at swirly, leaves and acorns dropping like crazy. Only been light for 40 mins now. I’m a bit surprised I haven’t seen anything. Tucked into my best spot on this property near bedding, thick travel corridor that really has it - edge, pinch point and some acorns in here. Haven’t stepped foot on the property all season.
