I have this buck that has a messed antler on 1 side. I know if injuries during antler growth this will happen. Will the antler develope next year or will it always be messed up. So I am asking should I shoot it this year or wait and see?
It would more than likely change next year most do.That said, to shoot or not only you can decide based on YOUR personal goals. Either way, a good killing shot and recovery on any deer will always get a hardy CONGRATS from this hunter.
Only you can decide that. If presented with the choice you can decide. If that buck gets you going then cool In Venatione Veritas
It's impossible to know for sure. I've had pics of deer that have had a messed-up side their entire life and others that have been messed up for a year and then back to normal. It all depends on if it was caused by genetics or an injury.
ive got 2 pictures with a deer with a second beam on its left. It isnt the biggest deer we have but its the one I want. Im guessing our timber is the southern part of his range and hoping I can snag him.
