Was down at the Hampton breakfast bar this morning eating my ****ty breakfast. I am watching the hot food section and there are two guys going thru the section backwards working back towards the plates (where normal people would start) Well then there is a group headed in and they are following suit and trying to figure where the plates are, it is like watching dumbasses square dance.

The people who can't go to a buffet and can't stop themselves from eating before they sit down, I want to stab them in the temple with a fork.

Unless you are under the age of 10, there is no excuse for that. Anyone older has no excuse for not being able to tell how a line works.

    Ebay sellers.

Good grief, ordered 4 things with an estimated delivery date Oct 15 to the 18th.

3 of them "shipped" Monday. All 3 state shipping lable created, so haven't actually been shipped. The one item I really need hasn't updated at all.

    Yeah, no on the naprox.

~2000mg ibuprophen +2000mg Tylenol per day isn't moving the needle...with my back... Destroying my liver and kidneys maybe.

Pretty sure it's at least slipped / bulging disc...maybe something else deteriorating as I was dealing with sciatica past 6 or so months... Guess I need to schedule a Dr appt.

Everywhere you look, places are hiring. Literally, everywhere. Yet, I had someone call - demanding I lower his bill (and gave me a hundred reasons as to why it should never have been billed at that level....smh) because he has been UNEMPLOYED since last year due to COVID.

    Wait a minute....

How can anyone be complaining about not having a job over a year later? They all got extra money through September of this year. If you have children, you even get more money. Yet, some want to play the "poor me" card. Go out there and put in applications. I have no sympathy for this. So many of us have worked through this whole thing with not one hand out. NONE. Yet, others are still trying to get more.

    That made me so mad!

Our HR person used Indeed to hire a guy, he worked 2 weeks and walked out at 10:00 one morning, we paid a substantial amount to indeed to hire the guy. I went in to his office and said no more of that. We recently have been able to staff up clerically and administratively to the point I am almost comfortable. I have zero say in production and engineering hires but heck my half is covered.

It does seem clerical/administrative jobs around here are filling to0. I've been keeping my eye open in case something better then what I have now pops up. It is the shops, stores and restruants that seem to be the ones screaming for help here. (Of course, they're the ones where you don't need experience, too!).

All you guys pissing and moaning about airlines and travel- blame the Brandon in Chief (and the chicken-crap airlines for caving.)

ATCs and airline employees are sicking out due to the mandates. Rental car companies can't get employees and there's also a huge demand for rentals due to a lack of supply for new vehicles (Taiwan chip shortage) and also increased demand b/c people can't/don't want to fly.

Vehicle supply is so bad that Enterprise is buying back cars that they sold as used 2-3 years ago and other newish-vehicles in good shape. I could easily sell them (or any dealership) my 20 Durango RT with 12k miles for $5k more than I bought it for.

    I can't take it...

My body has some sort of reaction to it (I get all flushed/feel feverish, sleepless / restless)...

Day 5...a collegue mentioned turmeric as helping him... Today I added capsaicin (internally and some topically) feeling about 50% better.

If I never fly thru Jackson Mississippi again it will be too soon. I get to the airport of course my flight is delayed, then there are no restaurants open in the airport so I am hungry and pissed off.
