This is the truth. Too much content in the world and not enough time to consume it all.

I still like reading books so I spend what little free time I have doing that.

Started feeling a little off yesterday late morning. That turned into a pretty good cough by the time I got home last night, and then a slight fever and some body aches last night. Great!

Gave myself a C19 test at home this morning and it was negative. Went to the doc to get checked out and not only did they give me 2 C19 test, they gave me a flu test as well. I've had more stuff jammed up my nose today than Hunter Biden. Thankfully everything is negative. So now I'm just on Prednisone to help me breathe, and not sleep. Hoping I'm feeling good enough to hunt this weekend. I don't have time for this!

Didn’t get out hunting tonight but got my MN buck back from last year and with some shuffling around found him a spot on the wall.

Temps are gonna drop tomorrow and high pressure Saturday should be good out there. I’ll probably get out Friday afternoon and Saturday

4 covid tests and 1 flu test in 2 days. That's a lot of nasal penetration.

Since I'm Covid positive now I get to hide in my basement and WFH until the end of next week. This means I should get a few extra afternoon hunts in. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and kill something!

You'd probably be more comfortable if you sat up in the stand instead of lying down.

Try Zicam, vitamin D in high doses, and pedilyte. Good combo to get yourself back to normal.

Honestly, this is nothing. I would describe it as a very mild cold at best. I've been taking Advil Cold & Sinus every few hours for the congestion and I feel like a million bucks. Doc has me on steroids b/c my breathing was acting up and I have asthma, and now a Z Pack. I'm juiced to the gills on medication and coffee. Let's go!

Well guys, pretty exciting first sit of the year last night. Passed on a nice up and comer at 5 yards. Watched him and small 8 pt. make a scrape and hit a licking branch. I've got a lot of trail cam pics of this guy and it was enjoyable to see him in person. Love the split G2 on him and hope he makes it another year. I'm headed back out this afternoon to see if something a year or two older is up and a little frisky. [IMG][IMG]

My first whitetail sit of the year. Only calling for thunderstorms and 30 knot winds but big temp drop after. Jumped 2 walking in and the girlfriend had seen 5 after 30 minutes. Fingers crossed!!

My season opened Friday October 15. This morning was my first sit I didn’t see a single thing. This afternoon I had two does and two small bucks Come in range but passed. I’m planning on hunting tomorrow afternoon on a piece of public land that I have never hunted before it should be interesting.
