Not getting in the way for long for me.. Hanging up my spurs the first of the year... Gonna try retirement life. I do have an offer to go to work for a local whitetail outfitter... Now that would be a fun job I think!

I work for the city so I at least get Comp time so I can’t complain to much. I can take off about 8 weeks a year if I don’t take a lot of overtime in pay.

my first hunt is coming up Ill drive to cabin thursday oct 21st after I put kids to bed, probably leave my house in Omaha around 930pm 107 mile drive to cabin in NW Missouri Thursday forecast high 62 low 39 hunting as much of friday as possible forecast high 64 low 42 praying that drops a little more as we get closer. 1 of the neighboring farmers has all his corn out but my cell cameras arent showing much right now Ill then drive home Friday night, Id like to hunt Saturday as well but we have a social get together for the church small group i lead. Might be able to sneak in a quick Saturday morning hunt
