I bought this bow from my brother last year and I have done everything under the sun to get this thing to be quiet. It is loud! Like a loud thwack every shot. Heavy arrows, light arrows, SIMS rubber all over it, string silencers, you name it, I have done it.

So, I will turn to the community and ask for help and suggestions on trying to get this thing quiet. My 25 year old PSE was much quieter than this banjo! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Cool hand Luke string stop! I’m a big Hoyt guy…after the Helix I haven’t bought any. Best bow I’ve owned. My RX1 was the slightly loud. I do all my own work on my bows and timing was a big factor. I ordered this string stop from Luke, best decision I ever made on my RX1 lol.[IMG]

Really? I will look into one like that however at first glance, it looks like the one I have now but only black. Regardless, it could be worn out?

Cool Hand Luke is his name on Archery talk. Luke Gampe is his name, he’s on Facebook as well. Good guy, he makes them in his machine shop. I’ll say I was very impressed! It’s not like the factory one by far
