    The thunder rolls
    And the lightnin' strikes
    Another trail grows cold
    On a sleepless night
    As the arrow flies
    Out of control
    Deep in her heart
    The thunder rolls

2 websites said rain was done. Took a shower and headed out to spot, but more rain coming...so didn't go out. A lovely NNE wind. Perfect for a stand I wanted to hunt. Enjoy the day fellas.

Geez, seems like the weather folks are worse than ever right now. I expect them to be off on timing often and flat out wrong every now and then, but it seems like they haven’t even been close here lately based on my experience and what I’m reading here.

Some great hunting occurs right after a rain that ends about an hr before sundown....

My neighbor’s tree started dropping this weekend. Sounds like a hot spot.

Rain hasn't stopped since I was nearly drowned this afternoon. , I did sneak out in it to glass deer from the hedge row. Doe and fawn up the hill and a 12" spike that alerted me to a 2 1/2 yo. 8 pt. bedded 70yrds away

    I’m down. Didn’t see a thing.

I’ll go back to the same tree in the morning and give it one more try.

Had a nice, probably shooter buck walk right in front of my stand at 1210 today. Broad daylight in the open. It's that time. I will hunt tomorrow evening and that spot is my favorite for a reason around this time of year.

Almost shot the big guy again tonight. He was 40 yds for a lil over an hour, I had no lane to kill em. I’ll be back out tomorrow. Hopefully 3rd sits the charm.

Weathermen are like ball players with a life time average of .260. Not spectacular but they keep hanging around until someone better comes along

Strange isn't it? Almost looks like she was looking up at the tree canopy.

I’m gonna try and make a move tom. I have been having a S/Sw wind the last two times, but Tom I have a E, I’m gonna try and sneak to the downwind side of where I think there bedding just Inside the wood lot and hopefully intercept.
