One of DJT's greatest accomplishments was implementation of tariffs which while inflicting short-term pain would have paid off in the long run with the return of more domestic production. And labor is by no means the primary draw. The majority of immigrants' (illegal and otherwise; and especially via their children) are on public assistance and get food subsidies and 'free' (to them) healthcare; either by Medicaid or just using the ER as a primary care provider. Those are irrefutable facts. So they can come here illegally, get public bennies, and live of the fruits of your labor at a much higher standard of living than they had back home. I don't blame them per se, I blame us.
