    I'm up heading out soon. Have a Buck on the farm that goes by my camera at about 0730 while he's headed from corn to bedding. Nice 8pt, probably 20" across with good mass, maybe 120-130". Gonna sit on him today and tomorrow, hoping he strolls by.

    Been in since 0530. Not to bad coming in the backside. Enabled me to get to my stand in tge timber, 200yds from the corn, completely undetected. Sitting on stand overlooking the creek at the main trail crossing. Sat in the dark for an hour, now about 20min of good shooting light. Will give it till 9-10, then have to get that Doe in the freezer from yesterday.

    Got in about 15 minutes ago. What a disaster. Haven’t been to this stand since early summer. Forgot my headlamp so walking through the swamp blind was great. Get to my tree and realize I left my backpack at the side by side… with my bow rope in it. Climbing this oak one handed and in the dark was interesting to say the least.

    39 degrees with 0 wind. Opening day lets go!
