I agree with your view of Trump, I question the validity of the claim that the economy does better under democrats. Gas and groceries have gone up almost $400/month for my family in the past six months. Same thing happened for 8 years under Obama. but, what do I know? I have been only voted sonce 2004. I have to see a presidential candidate from either party that I thought should be in the WH. Been holding my nose and hoping for sanity, hasn’t happened yet.
I know that I've never paid as much for gas as I did under Dubya. Everything is up, material cost on construction is nuts. Good news, we purchased 7/16" OSB for under $16 a sheet, so thats come down. Been having a hell of a time purchasing 1/2" x 24" hand split wood shakes, come to find out Canada doesn't do that any longer. They ship raw logs to China and have them milled there. Thats crazy bc they then ship them back to Canada to fire treat them, crazy.

I wish our politicians just stood for something. Stood for anything. Hell with the economy. If it needs to collapse for a bit until it falls in line with how people are behaving then that needs to happen. I can tell you all this funny money floating around is scary. Heck my county just received 91.5 million dollars in federal money recently. For what? I drive the streets every day. I dont see one more bit of homelessness or joblessness than before covid, and I talk to a lot of people. We keep trying to force the end game while forgetting the means in politics. Kind of like forcing your bow to shoot arrows that just wont fly right so they hit the bullseye at the end, instead of just tuning an arrow over time to flow with the bow naturally.
Are we talking the same infrastructure bill that Obama came up with that was a complete flop and we lost a half- billion dollars to Solyndra and our roads and bridges still look the same? Or, are we talking the 3.5T infrastructure bill that the Dems are pushing filled with complete nonsense (human infrastructure), that Nancy Pelosi wants to raise our debt ceiling for? As far as I can tell, Dems promote being on welfare and collecting free stuff, which in turn hurts our economy. Are we talking the same Dem economy that is going to give free stuff to millions of illegal immigrants and not mandate a COVID vaccine for them. Are we talking the same foreign policies that produced Benghazi, completely misread Iraq and the JV Team, Syrian ISIS debacle, Iran Nuclear Deal with pallets of cash given, Paris Climate Accords, trying to close Guantanamo and bring the terrorists to the US, how about trading a deserting traitor (Bergdahl) for the same terrorists that are running Afghanistan now. Or, are we talking the same foreign policy that produced the Afghanistan debacle we a currently witnessing. We can talk the Dem backed (peaceful) protest that completely ruined neighborhoods, communities and costing millions to fix. We can talk about an unconstitutional vaccine mandate. We can talk about the Dem administrations always gutting our Military by cutting funding for equipment and training at the same time China and Russia are surpassing us with new equipment and technology. I can't even believe China and Trump was brought up, Biden has padded his pockets from China for years before Trump came around. The Dem party has birthed/created/introduced wokeness, weakness, racism, laziness, socialism, and many other nesses/isms that this country doesn't need. Lastly, many of us have volunteered, giving blood, sweat and tears by serving our country. This service has provide Freedom of many things, all of which makes us the Greatest Country in the world and I will not sit idly by just to have it taken away , if you don't like it please feel free to catch a plane to Afghanistan and express your concerns to the Taliban, I'm sure they will listen.
