I plan to shoot a couple different broadheads this weekend myself. Still running same setup as last year so should be good to go

Our first teammate should be hitting the woods soon. Good luck.

I've basically decided I'm going to shoot more deer this year then I ever have. I'm really started to get excited for the season should be an adventure I have never hunted different public land spots like I'm committed to this year.

That sounded like a blast. Having plenty of spots opens up a lot of opportunity

Alright, since I am the first with an open season here is how the weekend will look: My son has a soccer tournament tomorrow. If they lose two games they are out an I will sneak an evening hunt in. If they have to play a third game I will be out on Sunday morning in my urban hunt zone on doe patrol (urban hunt is earn a buck). Have had does and spikes on camera just steady, all day long. I will keep the thread updated as needed but send your WhatsApp info and we can be up to date in real time.

Ok, so a team dropped out of the tournament so they went to a round robin. Means that everyone played all of the other teams, win or lose. Had the last game of the day so tonight ain’t happening. Will be up at 4-bells, though. Hopefully the sunburn on my face doesn’t hurt too bad tomorrow

Starting it off right. I trust you to post the doe in the scorecard thread. LC seems to be a little preoccupied with a bucks he 1-lunged but it will get entered.

Strike out for me this AM. Saw a handful odd big rope dragging turkeys but had to climb down earlier than I wanted. The sun came up and the heat and humidity drove me out of the woods. Plan is to be out Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (all evenings), and Saturday morning.

It was hot in Wyoming too. I went through every bottle of water I had (5) and two juice packages just trying to stay hydrated. I saw deer moving all day...so I didn't want to get off stand. It sucks seeing a mid 150s deer and you're confined to shooting only does. Maybe I'll get lucky in the draw next year. Keep swinging everyone, we have got this!
