One of those days. I am headed to a conference Monday I needed a display unit of an OCS meter, it needed to be programmed. I am headed out for the day and the IT is scrambling to complete the program. 6 weeks ago there were memos sent out to the individuals who needed to provide materials for the conference. I asked the IT what the deal is why isn't it done? He says he is so busy, I told him that he could better manage his time if he showed up for work at 8:00 instead of waltzing in at 8:30 9:00.

I really hate the previous idiots that worked on this house. A simple job that should take a half hour to complete turns into a nightmare every time. I have lost count on how many WTF moments I have experienced just this year. How they did the stuff they did is just asinine !! After 29 years of working on this house nothing should surprise me anymore. I know better though. So looking forward to the next house project.

    Bees!!!!!
It's just nuts! I went to the grocery store and it was busy. I pack my groceries at the car and there are a bunch of people around me doing the same or just parking. Next thing I know there is a yellow jacket buzzing the cart. I wave it away but OH no he's not leaving . I jump back yelling at it and now people are looking. I try getting back to cart and 2 more come in. Now I hear people saying" look at them going after her. Now I'm at the front of car waving a freezer bag around me. I hear one person laugh and I turn and yell " I've been stung 8 x' this year!
Mind you not one bee is bothering ANY OF THEM. 20 min. Into this. They finally move off with a breeze. I then go to the dollar store because I forgot Ice. I come out and there is a red truck with a woman in passenger seat and both Windows down next to me. I grab a freezer bag get the ice and get in my car. Roll the Windows down and what fly's into the passenger window ..a yellow jacket. I swat it and yell get out of here!' Glance up and woman is grinning. I call out as I start the engine I've been stung 8x' s this year. .She starts to say I see why as she's frantically pointing at me. I look and there are 2 yellow jackets coming into the drivers window at the mirror . Now I'm waving wildly and yelling get out!, get out!, Then there are more coming in the passenger window...I see a look of horror on the wonans face as I'm trying not to get stung and backing out with out hitting anything .I'm waving my arms and now yelling WTH, WTH, WTF!. You could see them buzzing around the area I was parked in. NOT one went near that big red truck with the Windows down...
I'm not one to wear scents, unless you call Deep woods a scent. because mosquitoes and black flies act the same around me. I don't know what natural body odor I give off that attracts bugs but I wish it would just stop..

Replacing my 20yr pool liner yesterday, wife and I plus a few friends did all the messy work. When it got time for the finesse work I went to go process my deer.
I come back to find about 6 inches of water in the pool but since they did not center the liner it needs to all come out and start from scratch.

My truck did not start this morning. It seemed to be turning over a bit slow on the weekend. Question becomes battery or starter? I'm going with battery as it is at least 6 years old. Only thing I can say is if the battery, this would be the first time one didn't die when it was -20 degrees.

At least, I had the wifes car to use to get to work. She is home today babysitting our grandson.

Were your electronics on in the truck? If not then yes I'd say it was the battery.
If they are on it could be a bad cell in the battery or the starter.
Sounds like the starter is the issue though.

    Bees AGAIN!
Went to check one of my best tower blinds over one of my best plots...I get to the narrow path ,lined by dog wood brush to ladder . I caught movement to my left and it looked like a scene from star wars. The one where all those fighters were pouring out of the ship. God darn I've gotten fast on my sprints! I heard them close to my ears as I ran but I had a leafy branch in my hand and was whirling it around my head as I ran. A hundred yards later they'd given up...That was too close.
Though now I can't get to the blind and I'm not sure where that hive is, except very near the ladder they seem to be guarding.

Stort of my life right there.

Kicker is, if I'm fixing it for someone else it goes without a hitch.
