Closing on the house has been delayed. I figure I've got two hunts I can get in here in Kansas before we move to Alabama. Two is all I need. I'm going to get this team some points!!!

Shot the bow for the first time since my back surgery. Shot six at twenty yards and six at thirty. Wasn't perfect but they would have all been lethal so I can't complain. Will be hunting Monday and Tuesday and then leaving Wednesday morning to move to Alabama. Then after we close on the house Thursday will be leaving early Saturday morning to go to the night race at Bristol. Going to be a busy week!!!!
I checked my best chance at getting a deer in preparation for Monday and Tuesday. I walk along the neighbors fence line to get to my spot and even though the beans dont look that good this year there is a ton of sign along the way. There are prints, scrapes,.and even cherries along the way. Neighboring crops are all corn and it is cut. Beans are green, I think I got a chance fellas.
Hung stands in Kansas, heading back to Maine first thing in the morning. We have 4 cell cams on our 200 acres. I have a run and gun stand set up already out here so I can adjust on the fly. Here is a few pictures from my stand. Except they are sideways. No idea how to fix that

Where in Alabama? I've been looking at Jackson county. As far north and east in Alabama as you can get. Very rural, on the TN and GA border and one of the highest deer populations in the state. I have to stay in VT for 6 more years, until my youngest is out of HS, but then I'm gone. Winters, high taxes, crummy political atmosphere(to me) and very few deer are driving me out.
