I bought some hexx shafts to try with a V3. Sadly haven’t had time to get them fletched but good to hear your set up and like them. Gives me the push to get going on them.
Vector HMR 300 with 105 g ethics insert. 125 g qad exodus fixed blade arrows. Nocturnal lighted knocks. Total arrow weight around 600. switched from lighter arrow with mechanicals because I’ve had too much bad luck with either no penetration on a shoulder hit or deflection from the mechanicals opening. Hoping to get an early season opportunity to test this setup up. Really looking forward to seeing what it can do.

Gold Tip Valkyrie XT 50 grain insert, 100gr Rage NC, I think their about 425grains total. 30" draw out of my VXR at 65 pounds they pack a wallop!

Easton, Beams, Carbon Express, Gold tip, Blackout, Victory etc. In the end, the arrow I felt the most confidence in shooting up to 30yd...was Carbon Express. At 15-20yds the impact and penetration into and thru my target with the field tip...Carbon Express, just delivered. Last season, which was very short for us...I shot the Carbon Express Maxima Red. Each model is from the previous season or two back. Part of my reasoning was $$$. Hunting is expensive; and more so, when you have been out of it for a decade, and jumping back in, head first. Inserts are C/E stock inserts. I'm sure that will change over time too...Nocks...I'm learning, there is more to them than just a nock Wraps and vanes: Max Hunter / Nock on Skull 6mm From my research. Running black eagle zombie slayer 300 spine 100 grain brass insert cut 28 inch carbon to carbon. There factory crested with fusion vanes. Tipped with 100 grain g5 montecs. Weight somewhere around the 480 grains. These are the first arrows i somewhat put together. Had the arrows precut and I squared them and put inserts in.
Black Eagle Carnivore 300/.001 @ 29.5" stock inserts, stock nocks, 100g G5 Montec's . Switching to 150g Wasp SharpShooter Trad's next week as I've dropped my buck and looking to fill the freezer with a couple of doe's. I may try the SharpShooter's on my Mule hunt... but I might fall back to the trustworthy Montec's and just keep the SharpShooters for the Whitetail doe shots. Of course, all of this depends on my arrow flight with the 150's.
Just figured I would share in this thread as it fits the discussion. Anyone care to take a guess what I impacted on entrance side of this shot this year? Cropped and inserted just a slow-mo clip of the shot. Overkill arrow build, yes - many would say so. FTR that single bevel head that did that shot is set to be attempted to sharpened back to at minimum target practice if not back in a hunting quiver. The bone and the stone in the ground did a number on the one side especially, but should easily sharpen right back up.
