At least your still getting out to hunt! I know way too many people that would be willing to give up hunting if they were injured. Same to you Joe glad to see yall aren't letting something interfere with getting outdoors. I'm definitely indifferent about crossbow's verses compound's. All I care about is did it shoot? And if so did it hit its intended target or hair? Otherwise I'd say shoot what your most comfortable with.

All of southeast Louisiana got destroyed. More than likely 2-8 weeks to get power back in some areas. I wired my well to the generator so we have water and the refrigerator and freezers working. No damage to the house but trees down everywhere.
