My uncle used to have a dog that rode on the back of his motorcycle. He took that mutt everywhere.

Made a beautiful steak and potato dinner on the tragger for my wife and her friend. My wife told me she is leaving for a week to go to her friends cabin. Hard to hide the giddy a week of serenity, will go online and cut off her debit card at $250 a day.

I came across Josey Wales on Netflix. (Not even close to my first time watching.)

This is not the half a bottle of Templeton's later talking- this is Clint Eastwood's best movie. He sure as **** shoulda won an Oscar for it.

There is a very distinct Grand Torino thread running through it.

My favorite Eastwood movie and he directed it. In an interview he said his direction was inspired by the vets that returned from the Vietnam War and how they didn't care for the government. Im paraphrasing, but I was kind of surprised by his explanation of it.

I'd like to see that interview.
Clint Eastwood is a fascinating individual. So many of his movies are about betrayal, which is interesting considering how in real life he found it impossible to be faithful to his many wives and was a really crappy/absent father to most of his kids.

I watched the Rogan interview with Scott Eastwood the other day, it was really interesting to hear his take on his father, especially since Clint was approaching 60 when he was born.

Scott was born the same year that Heartbreak Ridge came out, which means that Heartbreak Ridge came out 35 years ago.

Not sure if that interview is on YouTube. It is at the beginning of the movie on the DVD copy I have.

The story Scott told during the JRE about the plane crash Clint was in was nuts. And if you haven't seen The Outpost, make it your next movie. I forgot Scott was in it until he had a line that he sounded exactly like his dad.

I watched the OutPost. My wife was in Afghanistan froom 07-09, she had to leave the room. Pretty powerful.

And I know exactly the scene you're talking about, I thought the same thing.

Wait until you have one of my open face BLT with fried green tomatoes, avocado and slab bacon. Better have your woodscrews in tight cause it'll blow your doors off. Top it with a fried or poached egg and you're done for.
