Hello guys and gals!! Hope everyone is healthy and having a great summer! I came home from work yesterday and to my surprise this is what the wife surprised me with!! I couldn't be more excited!!
Thanks Swamp Stalker!! My rotator cuff surgery went extremely well and I'm in a good way!! Probably give it to the end of the month than I`ll start shooting agin!!
What was that?! ...LOL I actually typed " Great throne " in reference to your new climber. Your better than me if you figured that out. Anyways, Congrats again BUT, Slow and steady wins the race and saves the shoulder. Best to you.
Grommel, when did you have your rotator cuff surgery, and how long did it take before you healed enough you could pull your bow back at your desired weight? I have a rotator cuff tear for 6 yrs now, the soreness comes and goes, but the last month it's been worse. My Dr put me on sterriods and told me to pull my bow back at 45 lbs 10-12 times a day till I see him again in 3 weeks. I was only pulling 52 lbs last season, and couldn't even pull that a few weeks ago. Just wondering what kind of stretching exercises and strength exercises you did to get back to your normal weight. Thanks for your help. Glad your surgery went well !
After having a cancerous left kidney out June 22 21 I will be clear to start tending stands and shooting practice again as of July 28th 21.. Surprise. Got a new Mission MXR. July 22 2021. Doing great Hope you are too. Will be 74 yo Feb.
Congrats on a successfully surgery and a new Mission bow..I love my mission Venture. I pray I'm as much a go getter In 10 yrs. as you. Best wishes for great health and a great 2021 season.
I had my surgery on April 26th. I shot 3 arrows on this past Friday!! Felt real good, no pain or anything!! I grabbed the Mathews, went into the yard and let em fly at 58 pounds, my normal draw weight!! Get your surgery as soon as you can, it obviousley sounds like its getting worse. I went to PT 2 times a week for 6 weeks. Did everything they said, now I feel great. I won't push it or try to lift anything real heavy but its feeling good and thanks for asking. Best of luck when you get your surgery its the only way sometimes to get it better. Best of luck, Glenn
