Eastern side. 60 miles west of Grand forks. 13 miles north of Lakota. Little town called Brocket.

    Thanks.
Depending on what kind of trees, I would place an add in the GF area Craigslist. May get some takers?

Just back from my PBR iced coffee early morning boat ride, I may need to start doing that every morning.

3 boxelder trees and 3 spruce. Neither are very good fire wood. I was joking. We have a spot here that we can haul them to and they burn the big pile every year or so.

A bit of bittersweet yesterday, moved my son down to Atlanta to embark on his graduate studies to become a Physician Assistant.

I love being a grandpa, my grandson slept over and I had breakfast with him I was thinking it doesn't get much better then my daughter told us, happened right when I was chopping onions.

Discovered a single clump of wild rice in the bay just off my shoreline. Sacred place.

I can not wait if it is a girl because I can predict the exact sequence and how it will go down. My son in law will come home from work and sense discourse and ask his wife (my daughter) what the issue is, my daughter will reply your daughter is so stubborn. My son in law will then go into his daughters bedroom and ask her what the problem is and my grand daughter will say mom is so stubborn. Fiery women.

As if being a deer slayer isn’t enough, @LittleChief has a mountain named after him. Little Chief Mountain in Glacier National Park. Saw it a few days ago while driving the Going-to-the-Sun road. Still in Montana until Saturday, just got back into cell service.

One of many highlights of a great family vacation in Montana, we took our boys on several hikes in Glacier National Park. Yesterday, we hiked the Swiftcurrent Lake Trail and the Apikuni Falls trail in the Many Glaciers area of the park. SLT is 2.7 miles and flat we did this first. Apikuni Falls is 2.2 miles round trip with a 700 elevation gain. My three- year-old hiked both trails without whining or complaining one time. I only carried him for about 25 yards one time and he had enough of that.

EDIT: Apikuni falls starts at around 4800 feet and finishes at 5545 feet in 1.1 miles. My three-year-old hiked that unnassisted after the 2.7 lake hike.
