I admire your patience and persistence. Some would say "close enough" and stow the bow until September 1st.
That’s not in my nature. I want that thing tuned and shooting good regardless of what broadhead I put on it. I will say that this bow is a tack driver when I do my part correctly. I need to do a lot more shooting to get my left arm accustomed to holding that extra weight steady at arms length.
Not trying to be the cool guy here but it's our duty to not only know our weapons but to ensure we make them as accurate and lethal as possible. I'm with you on this LC
Whatever...just slap a mechanical on your arrow and you don't have to do anything or know anything....LOL (This is purely in jest folks, zero offense and only humor is intended.)
I'm going to try Grim Reaper Whitetail Specials. I used to love Grim Reapers but they came out of the package dull enough to drag tissue and clog the exit wound. They have corrected that problem. I opened a package and those things are almost as sharp as my Slick Tricks were out of the package. Also I can use my KME sharpener to make them scalpel sharp if I want.
A landowner just notified me he is leasing the 2.3 acres I had hunted in the past for an outrageous amount Then he offers 160 acres with a stream & crops on each side as no cost Goofy goof has got his priorities all wrong Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I shot those a long time ago, sharp issues as well and I didn't understand the importance of proper arrow builds as well then. Good luck man!!
I’m going to try some Sevr broad heads on deer this year. I will continue to use fixed on elk. I have used Swhacker on deer and they did well. I just like the idea of the Sevr. They seem a little stronger and beefier than the Swhacker.
Well folks...it aint all roses and tulips as I once thought. Yes its 160 acres Mostly crops...90% crops No one else hunts this specific property Timber is 994 yards long Divided by a creek...or a stream if you live in the Northeast...which runs down the middle of the timber However, I can only hunt on the west side of the creek No permission yet to retreive a deer if it shall crosss the creek and die on the east side (owned by a nasty cousin of the landowner) Measurements vary from 31 yards to 19 yards of huntable timber Not dancing in the isle as I once was....
