Had a fun weekend, went to the southfork of the Clearwater river and camped Friday through Sunday. There was a 3d shoot about 45 minutes away that we went to Saturday. My BIL, his friend and I shot the first half early and then my wife, her parents, and my 7 year old joined us for the second half. They were just in time for the rain lol. My son is just shooting instinctively with fingers and shot a 105 out of 222 possible. I think Ill have a life long archery partner, he had fun and never complained once. 11-10-8-5 scoring for 444 possible. I managed a 392. I shot half using rangefinders for a 201, then shot a 191 judging yardage on the other half.

Back from eye Dr,.in darkest lens possible thanks to being..."wide eye" as it were..Lol
New Dr. Thank God! The real scoop on runny eyes..So over the counter allergy drops. NOT the duct roto rooting I was told I needed years ago. Also 20/ 20 reading sight but a long distance issue in just one eye. No cataract activity, glasses not needed for driving. A script made for me to feel more comfortable with distance sign reading while driving. I can easily pass DMV test.
    Eyes so important phewwwww!

Nice, did you apply for this year? I have two points each in Wyoming for Antelope and Elk. My dad, brother, and I need to decide quick if we are applying for antelope this year or not, deadline is 06/01.

I didn't apply, just got another preference point. Gonna be a busy fall around here so I'll do it in 2022 or 2023 more than likely.

Well, it is a '73 F250 with a 390 and I am really looking for an F100 or 150 with the Ford Straight Six so I may advertise to trade or sell. However, I like it so I may just keep it. Spoke with my guy that does body work and found out the new trend with old pickups is to stop the rust and clearcoat the original paint- blemishes and all. News to me. So I will probably have the motor, transmission, rear-end, suspension and brakes rebuild and see how it turns out before making a decision. It was a one owner and numbers matching, couldn't pass it up. "Camper Specials" seem to be less common, so I have that going for me...

Came home from work last night to find this note from the student-teacher that has been in my oldest son’s class all year. Yesterday was her last day and she gave all the kids notes. My son has his Zoom name as “Eastonprofootballplayer.”

Watching Under Siege for some mindless entertainment. Classic movie with fake badasses and obligatory top less blonde hottie scene. 1992 was awesome.

Just curious, are you seeing any material supply issues on the horizon in your line of work? There seems to be some sort of issue for pretty much everything! From primers for ammo, to lumber, to computer chips for trucks, & ketchup.

In our line of work, there is a "resin" shortage and finding paint for our upcoming projects is a nightmare right now. Manufacturers are already backed up until July/August.
It's odd to see these shortages for stupid things just popping up everywhere.

It is affecting others worse than it is us. We supply ourselves and have a couple of large warehouses full of inventory. We buy direct from GAF for shingles and at last count had 400+ bunks of OSB. The boss ordered shingles last Thursday and we've been told that's going to be all we can get for the next couple of months. The OSB shortage is nuts, the box stores and lumberyards have gone to allotments and last I checked most were out with no idea when they're getting more. Oh and its $52.14 a sheet when you can find it, I think we purchased the majority of ours at around $11-14 a sheet. So it is going to be a great year for us but no so great for guys that have to go through supply houses like ABC and Southern. As it sits rn we can roof about 1100 40SQ homes and re deck half that many before making another shingle order.
