State-Operated Hunting Areas California

    I have been scouring the CDFW site for months trying to figure out WHERE these areas are and what is type A and Type B. There is little in the very detailed regulations manual about WHERE these areas are. the only maps I can find refer to areas where things are NOT allowed. I am so confused as to if I will need a type A or B for where I want to hunt. can anyone help me on this?

    Agi, call the CA Fish and Wildlife office. Somebody there will be able to help you.
