Nope no, first job was cleaning a club after college "beer blasts". Let's just say to me the smell makes me think the taste would be that of Billy goat pee may be. Started out rum, now a good vodka or smooth whiskey/ bourbon. Scotch is sitting next to beer on my taste buds.
Thank you. Going to send it to my cousin, who refers to me as a "1970's Joe Average Lager Licker" for my unsophisticated, IPA-hating palate.
My backup is mic ultra because that's what the wife drinks. For some reason I always run out first so.
I also love a good Russian Imperial Stout that is barrel aged. Parabola by Firestone Walker is a great example. Surly also does a good job on this style. They are great to sip on a cold winter night.
Easy way to make your own IPA: Start with a regular Coors Light. The flavor is much closer to a store bought IPA if you first let the can of CL sit in the sun during the day and in the fridge every night for a month or so, but not needed if in a hurry. It also helps to crack the CL open and let it sit for 48 hours before the next step. Now go outside and get your lawnmower, flip on it's side, and scrape all of the moldy grass from underneath it. If this hasn't been done for at least a year the end product will be that much better for it. Take a large handful of the moldy grass and put into a large filter similar to a coffee filter. Now pour the Coors Light on top of the grass and let it strain through the grass and filter out into a bottle. Repeat twice more. Chill and enjoy (not necessary if you're German). Offense intended.
So much IPA hate. I am appalled by the level of beerism allowed, even encouraged by moderators, on this forum. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Reading people rip on craft beer is like watching kids fall off bikes I could watch that **** all day.
Since I am not a beer guy, I guess my back up would be whatever wine my wife is into. Lately, that is water melon flavored wine; sounds weird and a little sissy, surprisingly good for a wine.
I had 805 for the first time a couple weeks ago in California. I had never heard of it before. It was very, very good. Like really good. If there Can Be Only One; I pick Yuengling.
"So being 46 and having my doctor tell me to lay off beer, I went and got a new doctor." My oldest and best friend. My backup would be Deep Elum Brewery, Dallas Blonde. However, I should clarify something. I do more cooking with beer than consumption these days. That Dallas Blonde makes the best beer bread I've ever made.
mine as well. Now I know I am getting picky, but- Draft- Yuengling every time, although that 805 would probably be top 3 (gotta throw Guinness in there in the wintertime) Bottle- An ice cold bottle of Bud diesel Can- toss up between Yuengling or Labatts Winner across the board is Yuengling, close second Bud
