Had to bury my best buddy this past Friday, 14 years 2 months of my constant shadow, We did everything together, Was even a great bed partner, Missy thought I was the smartest, most handsome, most generous human alive, She was a super hunting and fishing Buddy, I do miss her dearly !

I’m sorry to hear this that’s gotta be tough. Our boy blue is getting up there too. Hes 13 now. I’m hoping the young pup keeps him feeling young for awhile longer.

20210411_211007.jpg Sorry to hear that Grouch.
May be morbid to say but....
I know Damn well I will feel more remorse when my dog dies then I will when some of my family/friends die.
    Roscoe is with me 24/7/365.

There are those that have dogs and there are those that have DOGS.
Most people can't understand the bond some have with them.
I'm just now cooking supper. I fed him about an hour ago.
Cooked up bout 1/2 lb of old burger and mixed it with his dogfood.?
I do this most every night.
He is getting old and has to take a running start to jump into bed. He is totally zonkked out right now, laying on my pillow.
He WILL wake up soon when I hit the sack and get a few minutes of luvings_up. He'll lick he **** outta my face, ill give him a good scratching, hell turn around after a few minutes and fall asleep at my feet.
    Wouldn't trade it for nuttn!.

Help--- looking for home remedy for my dogs diarrhea issue. Last three days she been runin something fierce. Took her to the vet. Fecal cam back negative. No giarddia or worms. Blood test all clean.

Foods not changed. She eating and drinking ok, and seems her ole self...

I have been told that canned pumpkin, yogurt and cottage cheese might help.

Any of you dog lovers/owners have any advice on what I might do or try to help?

I’ve given my dog Imodium ad pills and cut the serving size of food way back for a couple of days and made sure plenty of water is available. I wouldn’t give any sort of dairy. Good luck.

Thanks Ash.. Shes been drinking more water than normal as it is. I'll cut her feed back some more. Already had her on half ration dry food.

I will avoid the cottage cheese, but I thought the yogurt might act as a probiotic of sorts.

We have some Imodium ad pills at home. You give 2 at a time?

Has your dog been eating greens/grass? Might make a difference.

The wife said she saw her eating some this past Tuesday. She had a semi solid one last night and on the rebound I hope!

This is my dog. He was a rescue dog that we got. He would have been 4 years old this July but 8 months ago he started having seizures and was put on medication that helped for awhile but they got worse. Last Saturday he 9 seizures in about 3 hours and we had to put him down. He had a mass on his brain that they found. Cherish your little friends.

So sad. At least by rescuing him he led a good rest of his life. Good on you.

Just got back from a little walk. End of the road and back is 2 miles. Crashing back in the recliner and relaxing!
