hope you accidentally drop your phone into the lake so you don't get a call canceling that leave due to Minnesota shenanigans.
Don't look too hard for it, though. You might find some of Axtell's boat accident debris.

I haven't watched it yet, but he was kind of a badass. Lived a helluva life. I went to his museum in Key West. Pretty interesting.

I haven't thought of this in years Sota; so thanks for what I am about to type not that any of ya'll care-

In maybe...1989, my maternal grandma (my grandparents had divorced) moved into a sort of assisted living as one of the caretakers. She got subsidized housing with them and then helped run activities and stuff for the less abled (both mental and physically handicapped.)

Anyway, as a strapping young lad of 13 on summer vacation, I was tasked with helping grandma move her stuff into her new place. So I was helping her unpack, and opened a box of books that I had never heard of. I started talking to her about them, and she pulls out 3 books- 'Profiles in Courage' by JFK, 'Old Man and the Sea' and 'A Farewell to Arms' by Hemingway, and says to me if you only read 3 books in your life besides the Bible, read these 3 books.

Anyway, those books had a pretty big impact on my life at a young age. And I miss that old lady. And she really was a Lady. Very classy woman, and funny as hell.

    RIP, Monica.

Here's to great grandmas as a BTIL.

When you buy a boat and when it is delivered it has a 4 hp yamaha kicker motor on the back that you were not expecting. I have a beast of a boat 18' pretty stoked, going to use it this summer and then tear it apart next winter.

Tell you what Noodles it is like I was turned onto rap again, I even called my son to tell him about Lil D. He is not only lyrical he is clear and crisp and tight. True test will be live concert footage, that being said I am not a fan of live rap performances.

I hate rap "concerts" as well, even Beastie Boys live in concert were not that good. But LD slays the mike live in freestyle.

I was saw Beastie Boys on the Intergalactic tour... I remember the show starting but anything after that is a blur. However, the Sabotage tour show I caught was better than the album, maybe it was the fourth row center tickets. Ears are sting ringing from that concert.

I ran monitors for them a few years back. The lead singer was crazy down to earth and I really liked him.
The 15 min guitar solo culminating in the guitarist being cloaked in the confederate flag was little awkward

Sabotage was probably the most rock-ish of their albums and while I never saw them personally live on that tour I remember watching videos of the of it and thinking it was very good live.

Best things in life my ass...
I decided this morning that the damage them F%&n red squirrels did to my camper was beyond repair.
I'm drinking beer now and damn near crying.
I had a pile of $$ and sweat equity building it.
    Purdy much all cedar.
Lots of $ up in smoke right now.

This is easily the funniest thing I've seen in years. Maybe ever.

    Except maybe for this-
