Step 1..stop logging into pornXXX.com. Step 2..seriously stop doing that its bad for your computer. A friend told me.
Just use a VPN for your porn and stop clicking links and ads during that or any other online activity. Honestly if you are looking to upgrade hardware, do some serious Google research into it. Insider secret, most IT folks rely heavily on Google for research. Try to stay away from 3rd party hardware and supply sources. Order from the dealer or reputable outlet. Keep in mind that free open source anything is not free nor secure. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
In all honesty, I have a gaming PC. 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD. I want to upgrade to 2TB SSD, 32 GB RAM and wondering if I need the HDD. 3rd option is keeping everything the same and cloning the SSD to the higher storeage. I'm gonna go eat paint chips now, they look fruity
Now that you got specific i will go to a default email type reply: I will have to circle back on that after some research. Ha! I'm not on the up and up on the latest gamer performance hardware. My paint chips taste different in my neck of the IT world. Buy a damn Xbox. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Sorry @cls74 I'm not your guy for pc hardware questions. You need the high school kids that can't get laid and /or work at best buy. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk
If you just need storage then get the biggest SSD you can afford. If you are looking at lag you should up your Ram to whatever you can afford. Real gaming and you are going to want a kickass video card to boot.
Just sold my Xbox because I never played it. Only interested in the VR platform now and Xbox still not supporting it.
No, I've never been able to play FPS games. It's all about VR for me right now. I've never been able to get into gaming, I've tried many times. Bought an Oculus and VR has sold me, now I'm trying to get away from the Oculus/Facebook and going more PCVR. It's incredible how immersive it can be. really puts Ready Player 1 in perspective
I bought a 2tb SSD, right now I have a 512gb SSD and a 2tb HDD. Where I am confused is do I want to clone My 2tb SSD from my 512gb SSD and go with one 2tb SSD and the 2tb HDD or do I install the 2tb SSD as a 2nd SSD. Then would I keep or remove the HDD? I have available SATA 3 ports on the motherboard and have a dedicated bay for a 2nd and have available SATA power plugs on the harness. I'm trying to avoid deleting a game to download another one due to disk space. As far as the RAM I currently have 16gb(2x8gb) installed, want to go to 32gb. I have 4 slots(2 open) but have read 2 sticks of 16gb would be better than 4 sticks 8gb. Just want to make sure that is the case. If it is, would it be better to stick with 2 16gb or toss the two 8gb sticks in as well and have 48gb total? It's only for gaming, I have another computer for internet usage and copying/printing etc.
Got it done and didn't have smoke pouring out at power up . Picked up 2 16gb sticks of RAM and a SATA 3 cable. Hardest part about it was finding screws to mount the SSD to it's bracket. Had to search an old desktop and finally found 3 of the 4. Good enough, why components don't come with the screws and a screwdriver needed is beyond me. 3 internal drives it is.
