So the land grab is on the horizon. Shut down pipelines stop natural gas drilling. Pricing farms out of business, increasing consumer prices. Lowering food production. Causing increased dependency on imported food. Now they can gobble up the open farm lands for those solar and wind farms that China will manufacture with your ever growing tax burden. Yes the underestimation of the damage Democrats can create in 4 years was truly astounding. Once that farm land is gone, BTW who do you really think will be buying it? Not Americans, it will never go back to production. Out of the 10 wind turbines in view as we drove to see grand kids yesterday...4 were in working operation. Only people making money off those are the repair crews.
So we leased two sections, 1280 acres, for a solar farm. Five years ago we had it ready to sell to a solar farm company but the GOP legislators here went ahead and passed some unconstitutional laws that stopped it dead in its tracks. But $2.8 million taxpayer dollars later they lost their case and now we are leasing instead of selling so it will work out better for the family in the long run. Considering my grandfathers best crop of wheat was around 52 bushels to the acre and thanks to my great uncles wheat breeding program at OSU we now plant a variety that will yield upwards of 80 bushels per acre, we no longer have to plant 4800 acres and bottom out the market every harvest just to settle for $2 a bushel. How exactly do you think they get those pipelines across peoples land? I love how its the democrats selling out to China. Here the Republicans have been doing it for years. Smithfield pork is a Chinese state owned entity. 6 years ago the GOP introduced a ALEC written bill, SQ777, that would have allowed the Chinese to rewrite parts of our State constitution regarding water rights and agricultural practices, to their benefit of course. It was nothing short of spitting in the faces of every citizen of this state and treasonous. Not one single dem was for it, all GOP. Bought and paid for by China. But yeah, it is the democrats destroying America, okay.
Id liked to know more about this. I live about 1.5 hours from Smithfield. They have several hog farms that are spread out where i hunt. I knew they sold to China and everyone here was very upset about it.
