About the same here. We are up to $2.16/gallon. And the barrel finally broke $55, first time in a year. But I bet it goes back down bc this is just a normal January thing with higher production costs.
Gas prices here have went up .49 since Biden took office and with his assault on America's petroleum industry ... and it is going to get worse .... wait till summer, it will be back around $3 or more around here, we havnt seen that since before Trump took office (Obama era) ... the consumer will be hurting, as will any business associated with the petroleum industry ... https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-keystone-xl-pipeline-cancellation-gut-punch-small-businesses
You're probably right, the only thing we have going for us in Oklahoma is the Keystone pipeline. Not the millions of acres of oil patch. Wonder how we ever got that stuff to market before that pipeline..? And considering what lead to all the layoffs over the last six years was lower barrel prices during both Obama's and Trumps administration. They total well above people laid off over a pipeline and thats just in this State.
That $4 a gallon debacle under Bush was caused by Hurricane Katrina knocking out refineries and when they seen people would still pay those prices it never fully recovered.
see Bush could have prevented it...all he had to do was fly airforce one into the hurricane and turn it....no brainer
So we're eliminating jobs, raising taxes, increasing the price of everything, this is build back better?
What's the over and under on when "It's Trump's Fault" plays out? I see that Biden did a tremendous job with the stock market today. Or, was that still Obama residual? I get so confused on who gets credit for what. I know if the market crashes it's Trump's fault, but the rest of it gets kind of muddy.
Major school systems pushing their faculty and students back into school even though covid rates are worse than ever. Hmmm. I wonder why.
