How do you guys for see the future and ammo? A continued shortage? It will all be gone by summer? It will come back magically ? What you think? I am not sure what to think. I really don't.

I'm hoping it will be starting to return to normal by 2022. But maybe I am being optimistic.

I'm afraid to even go to the range and use up what I have now, no wondering when it will come back in stock ..... plus, I want to keep what I have for the coming civil war ... :biggun::confused:

The shortage will continue. Only hope is new companies filling the gap. With 4 yrs on the horizon even normal people will trend to hoard, there has been record number of new gun owners this past yr so those 2 things plus tinhat hoarders and we are in trouble. I have a line on cases of 9mm but it's. 60 a rd and I'll need to buy a 9mm pistol. I can't find any .40 except self defense rounds at 1.15 a rd.

I recently bought an upper for my ar chambered in 7.62x39. Ammo is quite a bit cheaper for that cartridge online and it’s actually been available in stores.

Gonna be awhile unfortunately.... this is the first time I’ve been genuinely concerned about the second amendment, if these idiots try to take stuff away from us, it will not end well.

With the current administration of idiots controlling everything, I would hang onto every round. Theres already talk of registration, massive taxes, and an "assault weapons" ban. Left logic says anything more than a musket or single shot will fall under "assault weapon ".

I think as we move into late 2021-22 it will be more available, already seeing some glimmers of hope already. Prices on the other hand are stupid, and so long as it sells out, will stay high.

we just lost a store that used to carry a good assortment of ammo and firearms and hunting accessories, it was handier than going to Bass Pro... Used to be called Big R, then they sold to Stock and Field, and now they have a going out of business sale ... btw, not a box of ammo left in the place, but I did get a pair of new La Crosse 1200 gr. knee highs for this coming season ..... Stock and Field never had a good assortment of most anything, guessin' that is why they crashed ..... I'll miss the 'em, .. more so Big R than S&F ...

It's much harder here in Southeast VA because that's what we use during our deer fire arms season

I’ve check ammoseek everyday, you can get some basic rounds but you’re paying a premium. I just bought 500 5.56 rounds for .94/round. Still can’t convince myself to pay $1.50/rd for .300aac.
Local guy said he’s heard some rumors stock may come back a little end of spring. We shall she how the political climate sways that theory.

We also had a Big R that sold to Stock and Field...not much had changed although I am curious to see if all of them are going out of business.
Some things at Big R were really good...automotive, farm stuff, clothes and random food and small appliances. Their 2A and hunting stuff was mostly crap and usually overpriced. Ammo wasn't too bad but IL is a shotgun-only deer state so their selection was limited and I never buy ammo over the shelf anyway unless I am in a jam.

just checked the Stock and Field website, and yup- all locations are going under. I will swing by tomorrow to see what looks good. Funny they don't even bother to list the prices on anything.

Thinking a utility trailer or another kayak might be on my list.
