Our superintendent had a slip up with a local hospital and announced open registration for teachers at a local site due to an over supply today. I signed up only to be notified two hours later the hospital wanted to prioritize 1A patients but would honor those who already signed up if they weren't in 1A, so I kept my appointment. Received my first dose at 2:30 today.

Well I made it Florida and back without getting the covid. I will say that going thru the airport and flying did not concern me. I think I was more concerned when I mingled amongst the idiots at Publix.

It's amazing how many people think everything has just stopped. Planes are still flying all around the world and people are traveling all over.

My wife has been flying 2-3 times/month throughout this whole ordeal. I have taken 3-4 flights myself. Neither of us has gotten it so far as we know.
I am just looking at this knowing that when it's time for me to get it, I will get it. Not going to go around licking door knobs, but at the end of the day it's way past time to live our lives.

I agree, thank God for president Biden whom to which we owe this plateau and the way his administration is fighting to get life back to normal... Well a new normal at least is inspiring.

Ok guys my sarcasm is spent for the day. I'll try again tomorrow.

But the 2 week lag that every covid kamala talks about... I am guessing that argument is out the window in this case. What administration was in office two weeks ago?

Fix, I look forward to tomorrow's attempt!

Yes, if they are anti-body negative. Originally Pfizer at least was recommending no, but I think that has evolved to so long as patient is anti-body negative.

Well then I have to ask if a person can actually get covid and your system fights it off and then you have an anti-body that expires why is the vaccination different does it's coverage expire and if not why?

The talk I've heard is the C-19 vaccination would be an annual shot like the flu shot. This would imply 2 things:1) it wears off 2)like the flu shot, could become a cocktail for unresponsive strains

The word around the hospital where I work, is that the nature of the vaccine makes it a one and done. I have not heard anything from someone I would consider reputable about it becoming an annual vaccine. Where did you here this?

Trials are continuing to determine longevity of the vaccine. Talk is already out there about a 'booster' for some of the more virulent stains (I think the South African and maybe Brazilian) is being discussed...

And this FDA doctor...(very short vid)
