    I'm waiting on some brutal cold boys, to fill my last couple doe tags. Those brutal cold evenings always make awesome hunts.

    I have some time left, about 4 weeks, and I'll be back in the stand soon. Been a ball buster year men, I swear. Looks like my dad has developed Parkinson. I went to see them and help out with some things last week and I'm pretty depressed about the toll it has already taken on him. Tough as a pine knot his whole life, never asked anyone for anything and now he can hardly do anything. That and other family stuff has really taken my time this fall or I would have stayed active here more. Just been a crap year all around in many ways, so ill happily take some tree stand therapy soon.

    Season ends here in about a week for me. I will get a few more sits in but who knows what will happen. Went out for duck this morning and its been slow. We are getting some really cold weather here on friday and through this weekend. I plan on doing a bit of hunting for sure. Hopefully at least shoot another doe for the freezer.

    I'm gearing up for the late season. Got 3 weeks left to go. Basically going to concentrate on 1 area. Going to stock it with corn for a week and a half then start hunting in the evenings. End of January it's looking to be fairly cold so I'm sure I won't have a problem. Anyone else still hunting?

    So I lied. I hunt 2 properties so I stocked up 1 spot on each property with corn and fresh batteries in the trail cams and I'll be monitoring the 2 spots. I'm guessing either one will produce late season success!!!!! 20210116_093505.jpg

    Season ended yesterday here. I was planning to hunt, but high winds kept me home. Sorry I couldn't contribute points fellas. First time in years that I didn't kill a single deer, but I had fun regardless. Good luck out there Shawn!

    Well unfortunately even if I kill it doesn't count. Any chance of Killin Tree getting his buck in? Anyone heard from him at all? I'm hunting this evening. Hopefully I'll at least have some action.

    If 1 member posted his buck we would be near the top. That and the fact that only 6 members logged kills it was a great year.
