new here from kentucky, this past season i switched from using an old heavy climber to using climbing sticks and a hang on stand. I used one of the older stands that i had laying around and am curious what stands everyone is running with their climbing sticks. im looking for something light and comfortable. ive looked all over online and just have not been able to make up my mind on which way to go.
I bought a Lone Wolf stand a couple years ago and have really enjoyed it. I do not hunt public much so I pretty much hang it at the beginning of the season and take it down at the end of season, I like it for its weight or lack thereof. Prior to that I had an older hang on, Gorilla or something like that and it weighed a ton. You can't go wrong with LW. I have a sit and climb and an Assault hang on. Both are very solid stands. I only use the climber now.
