Never seen my Dr. worried but he sounded pretty worried today. " people are acting like IDIOTS! A 42 yr old woman in town died after getting covid and she was HEALTHY!! " Just stay home!, Distance, be careful ! " I have to tell ya... He spooked me today, and I'm the nut bleaching groceries out in the parking lot in an ice storm. Son is looking into changing careers and he can't do it fast enough. It will limit hubbies exposure. Son rarely masks and he and buddies don't distance. BTW I' m in great health.
The virus is certainly real and certainly something to be avoided. It's behavior and randomness to which it makes people ill is astounding. I'm thankful that I haven't had it yet that I know of and now have the vaccine on board. Frankly though I understand the skepticism, conspiracy theories and general distrust of the government. The "Never let a good crisis go to waste" idea can be used for good and evil alike. I think it is a mistake to view this in an all or nothing way. There are elements of truth on both sides.
One short of funny/upside story related to the virus... My son was excused from jury duty, since he works oin the ICU and is in contact with covid (confirmed) patients, regularly. He should be getting his second shot next week...
Well they have "discovered" the rampant European covid strain in a county South of us. I ask why isn't anyone asking this question, where's the news of this being in China or not? Is China releasing a series of modified virus using the world as a Petri dish to weaken it? I mean really, they have no problem experimenting of their own soldier's and I'm positive the Uyghurs and prisoners. Then you have Cuomo once again blaming everyone else for his holding back Covid shots.....He makes me Laugh!!!! He actually thinks history will ever shine a bright light on him. Almost like Cuomo should have put down his quill and ink for the book about how great he was with the Covid and picked up a crayon and some construction paper to draw out how to get his vaccinations to the people...

One that gives CUOMO the ability to commit people he deems as "medical" public threats in a " medical facility " for up to 90 days. One that would be headed your way in short order should it pass here. No legal process due. As I said Little Mussolini, he's lost his nut and needs to be psychologically evaluated. Now they have a new strain from south Africa that so far maybe the "contagiousiest" of all, evern greaterier than the UK's "contsgiousier" version. All of this fear mongering BS by the media and "political" scientists has got to stop. It's all tactics to "require" more restrictions therefore giving the go ahead for Democratic governors to mandate new and stricter guidelines. Why was there no major headlines when it came out 4 different strains were found in the Baltimore Ravens team breakout? They will not stop until Biden gets in office and shuts everything down therefore tanking the Trump economy. One of these "new" contagiousier" strains will be dubbed unaffected by "Trump's vaccine" and now we need an even stronger "Biden Vitamin" that may take 3-5 years to develop and we'll need to adhere to current CDC guidance as well as new guidance forthcoming. Yet just as now none of it is working, yet it does work, but it really doesn't but we have to trust them anyway. China probably has 25 varients of this "virus" threatening to release it intermittently until we succumb to their wants. This virus is going nowhere. So we need to do what Trump and Biden said during their debate. We need to learn to live with it or we need to learn to die with it. Me? I'll learn to live with it so I don't get it and die from it. If I die from it I'll no longer have to live with it. Win win IMO
