I'm officially out for Friday, calling for 99% chance of rain from sunrise to 11am with just over 6 tenths of an inch falling. No thanks!

I'm going to try and get out Saturday, honest to goodness on that. Don't put any money on it, but I hope to surprise  Still have 3 valid Sunday's available as well. Generally do not hunt the days before I work in case of a bad shot, but I have and will again hunt a Sunday morning.

3 weekends left for the season here, ends January 17th.

Ill probably get a sit or 2 this weekend then i may be done. Will switch to chasing Crappie unless we get a good push of waterfowl which is unlikely where i live.

Well crap, looks like a good old fashioned ice storm is possible overnight and tomorrow. Long overdue for one, might make a Saturday hunt impossible. Have to see how it pans out.

I'm in NJ, will be out tomorrow first light until before the rain and then Saturday. I can now shoot another buck as of 2021. Happy New Year everyone! Shoot straight all that will be out.

I'm up and been shooting light for about 20 minutes. No deer seen yet. I jumped a deer as I was getting close to spot I wanted to be, so hopefully makes its way back in a couple hours. Also had a deer skirt the edge of the marsh about 80 to 100 yards away. Bit that was in the dark also. Beautiful 29 degree morning! Good luck anyone on stand today, it's a new year!
