I got down. See some trees to remove for food plot stuff. Got a skid steer and stump grinder coming Wednesday. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Trying a mid day hunt, sitting on a heavily rubbed area, no clue what’s going to happen. I do have a natural blind though.
I’m in for the last couple hours and I got the next two days. Confidence level is pretty low but sure feels good to be back out. Anything but fawns and spikes are on the hit list!
Yikes! You definitely got some pressure there. Anything you can do different to get away from it? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Public land. I'm thinking I may start hunting the mountains instead of Central. Extra 90 minute drive, but it was crazy. Wife and I have talked about buying land...but that's a tricky negotiation. I saw as many people out hunting today as opening day. I passed one parcel this morning around 5:15 am (sunrise 7:25 today)...5 trucks already. I got to my little spot and was the only one there... Till midday. Then ran into a bowhunter headed in, then 3 rifle hunters. And glad I left. A bit down the road saw somebody with dogs... I guess going for woodcock...?
