So my mathews I run a 26.5" module for draw length. they tend to run a 1/2" long. So when we put it on the draw board the DL actually read 27".. So am i actually shooting a 27" draw length in reality on this bow? Every other bow I have owned has been 27" mods. Sorry if it's dumb question but this is what I am thinking since mathews runs longer
don't you answer your own question here? You are running 26.5 DL mods On the draw board the actual measured DL is 27 You state that Mathews tend to run a half inch long what am I missing?
It does help to explain why both Mathews I have owned (well, one Mission and one Mathews) had such weak and squishy back walls. The DL was probably a squidge too long.
Very likely. I was told before I bought them that they ran .5" long 95% of the time...and they have for me.
Very few of these company's have draw lengths that are spot on. My Prime is 3/8 long. So yes, you're thinking correctly. I shoot a pure 29", but always opt for 28.5 draw lengths and fiddle with loop length to get it just right.
