Need to do a little work on the furnace this morning, but I'm heading to the in-laws for an evening sit. They have the only "real" food for a mile or better in all directions. Hopefully see some movement there. Good Luck to everyone that's out. I'll be in with the PM shift.

    KILL!!!

Her technical diagnosis was acute ataxia, but don't know the root cause... Lots of potentially scary causes (cerebral lesions, cancer, blood clot, stroke, etc)... Hopefully it's something more benign (inner ear infection).

She's on antibiotics, anti nausea, and pain meds.

Having some trouble on tile / linoleum floors and not allowed on stairs (so I get to carry her up and down).

We have a bush around here called "buck brush." It's plant name is Coral Berry. The deer will eat on it almost everytime they walk by a little bush of it. The berries all kinda crunchy sounding when the deer eat them.

Joe, I can't speak for your area, but I love late season. They are on the food, they generally move early afternoon once it warms up and the "hunters" have stayed home since it is work and dedication to be out this time of year. It's one of my favorite times of the season to hunt. It's also the heart of hockey season and the kids keep us busy so my days are limited. We do have a 2 week break for Christmas and New Years so I have those 2 weekend so hunt for sure. We end January 15th.

You saw more deer in one day than I've seen in 24 sits (about 100 hours) so far this season. lol

    Back out this morning.

Bumped a flock of turkeys that was near my stand. Walking in. 700 ish.
Now they have called each other and met back at it near me. They didn't stick around long seeing I wearing orange.

Probably 20-25 turkeys. Scared the crap out of me. This morning ,well earlier.

Decided to take the day off this morning in hopes my dad could shoot his first deer today. We all had the green light today to kill but I figure I still have second season archery and it was the last day of rifle so I rather him get one even if I don’t. He always would go with me as a kid and even now but always would pass in hopes of me shooting. He got it done today on the last day of rifle. IMG_5071.JPG
