Well damn, what is usually the best thread i look at on several different sites took a bad turn. I have super soft spot for good dogs. So sorry to hear that LittleChief. A good dog can and WILL add much joy to a person's life. Some can't comprehend that. Wl704. I wish you well.
We had to put our Black Lab down a year ago, she was 15 1/2. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Oh, they know. Our younger lab really missed the ole girl we put down. Toughest thing I've done, digging the hole to bury her. Pretty sure I back filled that hole with tears. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

So sorry @LittleChief . I had to put down my 14.5 year old lab this spring. She was my dog of a lifetime, it still causes a lump in my throat on occasion. @wl704 prayers sent and rooting for you to be able to avoid litigation.
Terrible news and sorry to hear. I truly like dogs more than people and am a new dog owner myself, and cant imagine the feeling.
I went out this morning. I only have a buck tag left. All I saw was 14 does. I sat on a stump. Good cold day to sit. I did hear the neighbor shot. The 1 group of does went that way and that's when I heard a shot. Good to be out
I don't think bringing a claim can be avoided... BTW not a divorce thing. And assuming there is a solid case, we'd be on the claimant side... So litigation or out of court v settlement would (hopefully) be good.
Can't decide if I want to hunt my own place this afternoon and tomorrow morning or drive 30 minutes and hunt a couple of stand locations I have in Mark Twain National Forest. Decisions, decisions.....
You were correct! I’m all set up 35 yards from a small pond in Mark Twain Nat’l Forest. I settled on this spot because we haven’t had any rain in quite a while. I figure a water source is a good bet on a mid-December day with the temp sitting at 70 degrees.
I'm back home now. I saw one deer just before the end of legal shooting light. A pretty good buck walked out of the cut-over and walked right by the tree I put @cantexian in when he was here. That was it. No does showed up. I'll go back there in the morning and give it a try.
