I built a tower stand to take my mini me hunting with me this season. Used reclaimed wood for the frame and lined the inside with carpet scraps, covered the outside with old siding I had laying around and used a broken tonneau cover as the roof. Its only about 4'x4' but has been plenty big enough for both of us to sit on camp stools and still have room for my camera tripod, So far Ive had a few great sits out of it with the little man and managed to take a doe out of it during rifle season. Looking forward to many more sits in it with him!
Well done. That’s a whole lot nicer than sitting in an open stand with a youngster. If they get cold it might ruin them for hunting in not-perfect weather.
