Remember the eight pointer I had the encounter with the other day? Here’s a quick explanation of why I was shaking in my boots and why it’s going to sting for a while :bigcry:

That was it for early bow, gun opens tomorrow... I cleaned my 20 ga. Browning then sent 2 Brenneke 3 " mags through her and have my orange all set out. Good luck and be safe to all hitting the gun woods tomorrow.

The season is officially over. Til 2 nd season starts on December 26.

Well now I’m officially done. Had 2 young deer in range but I would have felt bad shooting either of them.they would have eaten good but were very tiny. Saw another bigger deer but never came close enough for a shot. Been a good season. Meat in the freezer and some new knowledge from my time trying. Good luck out there.

I’m done for the evening. Didn’t see anything, I did hear some more chasing. Tomorrow is another day.

well i officially SUCK!!! i had 20 to 30 deer all around me and didn't even have a single fawn in bow range. right at dark 8 deer came out and at least 4 were good bucks. darkness came too quick. so sunday i'm going there to relocate the blind to a better spot so i can bowhunt through gun season.

Probably done until the middle of December. Landowner is doing work there through the 11th. I’m stuck with late season action after that. I don’t have high expectations, my season is right in line with the rest of 2020.
Sucks, but it is what it is
