No I did not. Waiting on my damn taxidermist who said he has a ton of deer coming in. He will get to it soon.
Well for those not on the chat thread I did take a buck yesterday. Was a long long day as I made a costly error with a gut shot. Long story short, I found the deer 14 hours later. When we found the deer I was not able to get my two pics with a bow. I was 511 yards from where we originally shot him. The meat had spoiled and could not be salvaged. So we didn’t haul the carcass through the nasty stuff we went through. He was pretty rank by the time we got there. I cut off the head last night and brought it back with me which absolutely killed me. I don’t know the official score yet but when I get some measurements I’ll let y’all know what he scores.
I’m still at it but trying to slow it down some. Hunted 35 times this year so far. That’s a lot for me. Wife has noticed, lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
